Terms & Conditions

Effective 2026

1. General

By accessing or using this website, you accept these Terms & Conditions. The Centre of Analytical Psychology Singapore Ltd. (“CAPS”, “we”, “us”) may amend these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after amended terms are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Intellectual property

All materials on this site — text, articles, illustrations, images, and software — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and are owned or licensed by CAPS. Glossary articles reproduced from the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) remain the property of their authors and the IAAP, and are presented with attribution.

You may access content for personal, educational, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including commercial use or redistribution, requires our prior written permission (info@capssea.com).

3. Accounts

An account is required to register for courses and supervision and to apply for membership. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make a purchase. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your password secure. CAPS is not responsible for missed communications arising from inaccurate contact details.

You must verify your email address before completing a registration. We require this so that receipts and joining instructions (such as Zoom links) are certain to reach you. You can resend the verification email at any time from My account.

4. Course and seminar registration

Registration for seminars and courses closes 72 hours before the scheduled date (or as stated on the course page), or earlier if maximum capacity is reached. Places are limited and allocated in order of completed payment.

All fees are quoted and charged in Singapore dollars (SGD). Registration is confirmed only after payment is received. An official receipt is issued for all payments received. Payment is processed securely by Stripe (cards, PayNow); CAPS does not store your card details.

Joining details for online sessions (Zoom links) are emailed before each session — please ensure your email address is correct. The venue for in-person sessions is stated on the course page and in your joining email.

Member pricing applies automatically to accounts with an active CAPS membership at the time of checkout.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Once payment is made, it is non-refundable. If CAPS cancels or materially reschedules a session, you will be offered a transfer or a full refund of the affected session.

Refunds, where granted at CAPS's discretion, are processed to the original payment method.

6. Group supervision

Registration for group supervision is limited to CAPS members (D, R, and J tiers) with an active membership. The terms in section 4 and 5 apply equally to supervision sessions.

Members (D, R, J) are responsible for recording and maintaining their own training and supervision hours. CAPS is not able to accommodate requests to provide records of training or supervision hours.

7. Confidentiality and recording

Clinical material presented in courses, seminars, and supervision — including case studies and participant contributions — is strictly confidential. Recording of sessions in any form (screenshots, screen-capture software, recording devices, or AI transcription tools) is prohibited.

Violations may result in immediate termination of access without refund, reporting to relevant professional bodies, and legal action where appropriate.

8. Membership

CAPS offers Developing Group (D), Router Programme (R), and Jungian Analyst/IAAP (J) memberships. Applications are subject to document verification and approval by CAPS. Fees are payable by card or PayNow, processed securely by Stripe, and membership is activated automatically once payment is confirmed.

A new membership runs for twelve (12) months from the day of activation, extended to the end of that month — the partial month is free. When the first term ends, you will be invited to renew through 31 December of that year, pro-rated by month for the months not already covered; thereafter renewals run each calendar year (1 January to 31 December). Membership fees are non-refundable.

D, R, and A members must adhere to IAAP guidelines on professional representation: public statements or titles implying analyst status (such as “Jungian Analyst”, “Analyst”, or “Analyst in Training”) constitute misrepresentation under IAAP standards and may result in termination of membership. These provisions are aligned with the IAAP Handbook (iaap.org).

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Content on this site is provided for general education and information, “as is”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on this site constitutes clinical, medical, or professional advice, or establishes a therapeutic relationship; seek independent professional advice for your circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAPS disclaims liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CAPS harmless from claims, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of this site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

11. Availability and acceptable use

CAPS may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this site without notice. You may not use automated tools to scrape the site, interfere with its operation, or impose unreasonable load on its infrastructure.

12. Third-party links

Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. CAPS is not responsible for the content or operation of external sites.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
