Four membership types are available; membership as a D, R, or J member carries recognition within the IAAP's international network.

Membership categories

An abbreviated letter code is assigned to the first character of the membership number. Membership is classified into four categories:

D: Developing Group Members — Registered members of CAPS.
R: Router Program Members — A trainee or candidate undergoing an official, internationally recognised educational programme to become a certified Jungian Analyst.
J: Jungian Analyst / IAAP Members — Qualified Jungian Analysts who are individual members of the IAAP.
A: Associate Members — Individuals interested in Jungian / Analytical psychology for personal development.
