Betwixt & Between: The Psychological Importance of the Concept of Liminal Space

Overview

This course explains that the in-between is not a gap to be endured on the way somewhere else. It is a psychological condition in its own right, with its own structure and its own possibilities. In liminal states, role, status, identity, and certainty all become provisional; disorienting, and also what makes real change possible. The threshold is not a flaw in the passage. It is where the work happens.
